Recklessness and nothingness reigns

Klaus and Ursula, the Queen and the King. A perfect image of our times, and of a disappearing era.

How would you rationalize what’s going on?

I’m writing this blog just to point out that rational analysis has now become obsolete and impossible.

Our behavior or, rather, the behavior of our ruling elite, has become erratic, illogical and irrational; there is no strategy or coherence; there is no puppet master behind the curtain anymore. There is no point in trying to understand anything by using any canons of rationality. There is no point in trying to see patterns, or to find underlying reasons. Such will be our last moments.

I still see many bloggers and analysts trying. To no avail. Why did Nancy Pelosi went to Taiwan? Are we trying to get into war with China, after we totally failed against Russia? What could be the point? Why is (Z)elensky bombing a nuclear power plant? Why is the Finnish extremist regime and its young leader, Sanna Marin, wanting to prevent all Russians from entering Finland, thus returning to the ideology of 1930s? What goals could this serve, what good would it do for Finland? Is it connected to anything? Does it serve anybody’s interests? There are no answers, but we have an endless list of questions. It’s just the chaotic end run now.

One reason why this must happen is because we are experiencing a disintegration event, where the previous narrative (the grotesque “western liberalism and human rights/mass murder canon”) has lost all its meaning, and there is nothing replacing it. Various factions are trying to advance their own, often conflicting interests. While the Finns rage about the Russians, only 1% of the US citizens pays any attention according to a recent poll. Italians are importing a record amount of crude from Russia while the northern Europeans have, for reasons that have no underlying logic, decided to self-implode and cut themselves off from cheap and reliable energy. Why? Germany does not have enough gas to survive the winter — and that is what the German elite intents, since they could open the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline at any moment. There is no rational angle from which to look at any of this.

I don’t think the end will be a sudden collapse, although it might be. I think it will be a slow disintegration, where the coherent narrative of the “prosperous west” and its humans rights aka industrial mass murder ideology just vanishes from the public consciousness totally, and is replaced by individual factions and nations pursuing their own economic and strategic interests. The European Union and NATO will cease to exist as meaningful, purposeful factions. They already have. The economic realities will force these shifts.

Four governments have already fallen in Europe, and more will fall soon. There will be a regime change. Peripheral nations will leave first, and connect themselves to the rising powers; the central ones will then follow. The Nordic and Baltic states will be the last. With them, lights will go out.

The Finnish president Sauli Niinistö gave recently an interview. He stated that the Finns have to learn to be more poor, and become self-sufficient. Nice to see the reality finally sinking in. But the problem is, nobody will learn to be poor just because the ruling elite says so after failing completely. Nothing forces Finland — a tiny insignificant nation — to destroy its economic prosperity by fighting a useless war against an enormous nuclear superpower. And Finland cannot become self-sufficient, it would mean extreme poverty in a nation with starvation-level agriculture and extreme climate conditions. Niinistö made it sound as if this is inevitable, but in reality the whole debacle was caused by the ruling elite itself. When the reality finally hits — when electricity costs five times more — people will begin to ask questions for which Sauli Niinistö will have no answers.

Mario Draghi, the tyrant of the post-constitutional Italy, had the good sense to leave. He just resigned.

The simple truth is this: we wanted, in what must be one of the most delusional moments of our history, to destroy Russia, and failed. That, in a nutshell, is what happened. We fail everything: the war in Afganistan, total failure; the pandemic response, complete failure; the war against Russia, colossal failure.

There are, of course, other reasons for the reckless behavior besides ideological disintegration. People can just lose it for sheer frustration when things don’t go as planned. You too. Many of our leaders are either too old, suffering from deep cognitive decline, or too young to understand much. They have been indoctrinated during the 1990s when the west was a hegemon for a brief moment. That indoctrination has stopped working long time ago, yet they are still applying it. My recent visit to Finland convinced me that many, many people still live deeply in the 1990s, as if nothing has changed. But everything has.

It is perhaps useful to say a few words about the now-defunct unifying western ideology, what it was when it still worked. The US actions were, and still are, largely guided by private corporations and the financal elite controlling the political system, an oligarchy, and they then use the US military and NATO for the purposes of conquest in the pursuit of profits. This was sold to the fools as a “humanitarian mission”, wrapped into the fake ideology of western liberalism. Just consider the fact that a few behemoth corporations own (or owned) 30% of the arable land in Ukraine, the size of all arable land in the whole of Italy. Ukraine was to be used for private exploitation and plunder. So, much of our behavior had an internal logic you could rationalize, albeit an extremely sinister one. What then happened was that these wars all went horribly wrong, and the rising powers, Russia at the forefront, put an end to them, in Syria in particular. The old way just stopped working. But that was what we were: a civilization ruled by private corporations plundering everything. Today, not even that.

Every day will therefore bring new surprises that nobody will understand.

  1. Watch out for the evil forces guiding Finns into the clutches of the “New World Order”. The last “Plandemic” should have given you enough warning. This is a fight between Good and Evil. Nato and European Union are only stepping stones into hell.
